A multinational conglomerate in Heavy Engineering services
CONSULTANT:
A Senior Sales Leader in CAD/PLM/Engineering Software and Services
ASSIGNMENT:
The project is for a heavy engineering client wherein the PLM workstream is involved in enabling creation of digital twin and golden data thread of the plant to enable an autonomous integrated factory where AI is driving process and asset optimization. The expert’s inputs and knowledge are required to do the to-be state benchmarking.
OUTCOME:
• Preparation of to-be state landscape; to-be state proposal / scope along with business value
• Preparation of to-be state time plan
• Formulation of change management methodology
• Evaluation of impact on current process, people and tools
• Preparation of skill-gap analysis
• Identification of use cases
• External benchmarking including KPI benchmarks and impact on business value
• Identification and mapping of capabilities and sub-capabilities for client based on global standards
• Identification of key requirements for modules corresponding to capabilities
• Identification of key capabilities, sub-capabilities for Quality Check and inspections along with
business value (special focus)
