Strategy Consultant to support the principal of a Germany based Chemicals & Materials practice

A German Consulting firm
CONSULTANT:
A management consultant with ~8 years of experience at KPMG Global Strategy Group, EY, Goldman Sachs and Delivery Hero (a Rocket-Internet company) across the Middle East, Europe, the USA, and India. The expert has delivered 30+ projects including business plans and growth strategies; M&A and financial analyses; and go-to-market, branding, and digital strategies. His work involved analyzing data, brainstorming creative solutions to business problems, driving strategic commercial projects and preparing executive and Board reports. He has prepared market reports and proposals on AI and its impact across sectors (such as healthcare, O&G, manufacturing, etc.).
ASSIGNMENT:
The principal of the Chemicals & Materials practice is looking for 1 or 2 consultants to support a project. The end client is a technology leader involved in developing AI technologies for diverse industry sectors including Chemicals & Materials field.

Brief Description of the project:

Conduct market research, collect industry facts and data to investigate and validate Client’s assumptions on whether it makes sense to further invest in R&D to develop technologies related to AI applications in Chemistry and Materials field.
Closely work with Client to develop business and technology development scenarios based on the findings from the market research.
Develop possible partnership / collaboration strategies for potential customer groups. -Validating business case and identifying various opportunities, developing stakeholder presentations. It will include several analytical assignments : market sizing, revenue/costing analysis... Expertise requirement Business Case Development, Analysis, Slide Development, Client Interaction- The consultant will be working very closely with the client management team and will report to the consulting firm Principal.
OUTCOME:
The Strategy expert closely worked with the client management team and validated business case and identified various opportunities, developed stakeholder presentations. Did several analytical assignments : market sizing, revenue/costing analysis etc.
