Clinical And Analytical Testing Expert for a Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Company

CLIENT:
A global strategy consulting firm working on a project with an Indian Pharmaceuticals giant.
CONSULTANT:
Clinical Data Management Expert with over 30 years of experience in Data Operations within the Global Pharma and Outsourcing Industry. Her career has been marked by leadership positions in Clinical Research encompassing Data Management, Statistical Programming, Artificial Intelligence /ML and Pharmacovigilance Operations. Managed large Safety teams (~650 FTEs) in India and Latin America for case processing & Aggregate reporting for Top 5 innovator company. Successfully led and supported large projects/deployments and study transitions for Data Management operations for major international pharmaceuticals across multiple geographies & Platforms.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Help the client analyze Clinical and Analytical spend of their end client to understand spend optimization possibility through multiple hypothesis and levers.
2. Provide them with concrete market benchmarks for the similar level firms and for similar molecules.
3. Help them in recognizing CROs for onboarding across all type of tests in different market (US/ROW/Domestic).
4. Help them validate hypothesis for cost optimization and give technical insights on the possibilities for implementation.
5. Provide industry knowledge regarding prevailing practices in other companies and how their end client can implement the same for an optimized process.
OUTCOME:
-The client was able to optimize the clinical and analytical spend for their end client by analyzing current expenditures, providing market benchmarks, identifying potential cost-saving levers, onboarding suitable CROs, validating hypotheses, and offering technical insights for implementation.

-Streamlined processes and validated hypotheses leading to increased operational efficiency.
