Domain expertise in Commercial Vehicles, Electric Vehicles, Automotive Electrical & Electronics, Driver Assistance & Infotainment Systems. He has hands-on experience in Parts Design, Vehicle Design and Development, Driver Assistance, Safety and Infotainment System, Body Control Systems & Platform Development. He has worked for TATA Motors as a Design Engineer, Mahindra Engineering and actively advises multiple clients in the automotive industry. He has extensive technical experience in Electric Vehicles, Automotive Electronics, ADAS and Infotainment System design & development, Technical competency building, Platform Design, NPI and R&D. He has worked on Research and Development in EV Electronics, Drive Technologies, Motor Design, Battery Technologies, Charging Technologies, Battery and Drive algorithms and Infotainment systems. He has also worked on more than 14 Electric Vehicles, 30+ EV parts, 3 EV Platforms Design experience. Within EV/ HEV he has worked on parts design for Battery packs, BMS, Motor Controllers, Vehicle Controller Unit etc.
ASSIGNMENT:
Our client, one of the large global consulting firms is engaging in a cost reduction program for their end client, one of the leading Indian multinational automotive manufacturing companies. As part of this program, our client would like to engage with a subject matter expert having experience in the R&D dept of wiring harnesses for commercial vehicles. The expert would be required in evaluating the current design/layout of wiring harness, and suggest optimization opportunity related to design, material, cost, supplier etc.
OUTCOME:
The expert was involved in the design of wiring harness, layout finalization of wiring harness of MPVs (Bolero, etc.) and buses. The engagement was for a period of 10 days at the end client's manufacturing plant based in Maharashtra
