Marketing & Strategy Expert for a Japanese Conglomerate

CLIENT:
Our client, an Indian management consulting firm had entered an engagement with a Japanese company. They needed a Marketing and Strategy Expert to assist them with th the Go- To- Market strategy development for the recycled chemical resin market in India, where they would need to propose the initial business strategy.
CONSULTANT:
Two consultants were selected by the client. They come with 8 years of experience and a strong backgroud in M&A Deals, Due Diligence, Growth, Go-to-Market Strategy, Market Sizing, Market Assessment, Competitor Benchmarking, E2E Digital Product Management (Design, Testing, Delivery, Deployment), Digital Transformation Implementation Plan (DTIP) and Sustainability Implementation Plans (SIPs).
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Define and size India market opportunities for Client’s addressable market potential,
forward looking growth rates.
2. Develop a comprehensive market map for India, including-
• Market Overview: Market sizing, future growth, key drivers, trend etc
• Competitor analysis: Market landscape and Market share, key players etc
• Value Chain analysis: Detail value chain analysis, players mapping etc
• Regulation analysis: Related regulation by Central/ State government
• Regional analysis: Specific target region/ state based on the analysis
3. Go to market strategy with initial business model hypothesis based on the detail analysis
above.
OUTCOME:
A holistic GTM strategy encompassing product positioning, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and marketing initiatives was deviced by the consultants in partnership with the client.
