A senior Management Professional, with extensive experience of leading business operations in Oil & Lubricants, Petrochemicals and Industrial component manufacturing. He has worked in India, China and Singapore as Sales Director - Asia Pacific countries with Castrol / British Petroleum. Areas of expertise includes M&A, Strategy and Transformation.
ASSIGNMENT:
Our client, a Big4 consulting firm was working with a lubricants' player for which they were seeking the advise of an Expert with experience in lubricants operations, supply chain and/or sales & marketing/ pricing to assisst in areas of marketing / supply chain cost optimization and digital transformation with respect to tool implementations. The project involved a comprehensive understanding of the lubricants industry value chain, including procurement (base oil/additives), blending, storage, and distribution across various channels, both traditional and emerging.
OUTCOME:
The consultant helped the client in identifying key challenges in the Indian lubricants industry spanning operational and other areas. Drawing from global best practices, potential profit improvement levers were defined, encompassing revenue and cost aspects.
