His experience includes optimizing supply chains for major brands like Sony, Bosch, and Nissan, saving millions in logistics costs.
ASSIGNMENT:
Our client was working with a leading Indian aluminium manufacturer on a project for which they needed Expert assistance and advice in areas of Packing, Warehouse (Reduce Truck Gate in-Gate out), Logistics (Reduce Lifting time from warehouse) and overall logistics excellence. To achieve this, they initiated "Project Extrugility" focusing on logistics and warehousing efficiency improvements. The project aimed to validate current practices, identify improvement opportunities, and prioritize innovative ideas.
OUTCOME:
The consultant identified and validated the current practices, prioritized improvement opportunities, and conducted an ideation workshop to explore innovative ideas. By focusing on packing, warehouse, and logistics, the project aimed to optimize handling, storage, and delivery efficiencies. The implementation of ideas suggested by the consultant led to significant improvements in the overall operations and delivery performance of the extrusion business.
