The client was looking for a Pharmaceuticals Packaging Materials Expert to suggest cost benefit ideas for categories like Cartons/Shippers, Bottles, Caps, Laminates, Foils, leaflets and other categories. The consultant should have an understandng of different types of packaging materials used in the pharmaceutical industry and their specific properties.
The deliverables were as follows:
-Knowledge of automated packaging equipment such as blister packaging machines, labeling machines, and cartoning machines.
-Knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical packaging, including FDA regulations.
-Can work on designing packaging that meets regulatory requirements while minimizing material usage.
-Can support in to minimize waste and improve efficiency in the packing process.
-Can support in review and negotiate with multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
-Ability to support in different PM category clean/cost sheet for vendor rate negotiation.
-Experience in working closely with packaging material suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative materials, or process improvements
