Consultant to assist in formulating a market landscape for a US based MNC in the Lubricants space

An Asia-focused management consulting firm
CONSULTANT:
He is a Strategy and Implementation Consultant. Has thorough work experience in business development, deals and Negotiation, Strategy formulation and Implementation. His experience spans across working on projects with E&Y, and as an external Full time Consultant with BCG- he was in charge of helping deliver strategy & business implementation support to large corporates.
ASSIGNMENT:
The client was looking to formulate a market landscape / understanding for a US based MNC in the Lubricants space, and subsequently set up a manufacturing plan.
The expert was required to Provide client market understanding and Undertake some primary Research: distributors / dealers to understand margins / 30-40 external interviews; conduct analysis, prepare presentations amongst other things.
OUTCOME:
The consultant successfully created a market landscape for the client, by undertaking primary and secondary market research, and analysing the gathered data.
