The site consists of solid orals, liquid orals, dry syrups, Oncology solid orals, oncology injectables, general category injectables mfg capabilities. The laid down production capacities are 20 Billion pills per year, and 18 L injectables per year. Complex molecules mfg capabilities. The site has accreditations from USFDA, MHRA, EMEA, TGA, Health Canada besides numerous other agencies having approved the site to supply internationally. Lead the site to add capacities by the way of production optimization, equipment optimization, green field projects. Site has around 4000 people working at site, including quality and other support functions. Accomplishments: 1. Production volumes: produced and packed more than 1.1 billion pills in a month for many months and brought down the sales backlog and improved supply situations. 2. Regulatory inspections: have lead the teams to prepare and face regulatory inspections such as PAI, GMP and for cause inspections. 3. Completed a very large green field project in record time and prepared for inspection and supplies, successfully. 4. President – Technical and Operations. 2015-2017 Cadila pharma Limited, Ahmedabad, Responsibilities: to lead multiple mfg. sites in india for effective mfg. and supplies. To lead a Supply Chain Management for smooth and effective supplies. Accomplishments: 1. Productivity improvement by redesigning formulation, cost reduction and increasing throughput of the chain of equipment. 2. First ever, short notice USFDA inspection with successful outcome and subsequently maintaining the approval status (VAI) in follow up inspection. 3. Lead SCM for implementing Accenture model of SCM management and SAP upgradation 4. Lead regulatory team for on time, effective filing of dossiers of new products and/or in new markets.
Vice President – Mfg and program Management. 2014-2015 Pfizer, Visakhapatnam. Responsibilities: to lead a program to create the world's largest injectable mfg facility, for aseptic and terminally sterilized products. Accomplishments: 1. Effective program management along with a team of colleagues from india and USA and from PwC, for site’s creation and strategizing decisions for early completion. 2. Improved the outputs by optimizing production capabilities, campaign production, interacting with SCM and markets to streamline the orders and order quantities. 2. Output increased by > 100 % within the same facility. Prepared and faced inspection from emerging market regulatory bodies. 3. Created additional capacities by brown field projects. 4. Successful upgradation of injectable facility and approvals. 5. Responsibilities: To lead the team to complete a green field project and qualifying and validating the facility to meet Europe and USA market requirement. Accomplishments: 1. Successful transfer of technology for niche oncology injectable molecules from Australia facility to India facility. 2.
